Standing distinct from the bigger lot of heroines who promises that they would never star in a movie again, even before her marriage yesteryear actress Meena said that she would be interested to play prominent roles in movies after her wedding if noteworthy offers come along. Meena also had wide fame among women with her television serials and was interested to be on track rather than derailing off completely.
After she got married to Bangalore based software engineer Vidyasagar recently and with the consent of her husband, Meena has been signed up for a film titled ‘Thambi Kottai’.
Starring Narain and Poonam Bajwa in the lead cast, Meena has been offered the role of Narain’s elder sister in the movie. Director Ramesh inspired by incidents in a village has titled the film with the same name and he also promises Meena will have abundant screen space making ‘Thambi Kottai’ a worthy comeback for the star.
