சச்சினுக்கு ஆதரவாக பாஜக!

"சச்சின் கூறியது சரி; அவர் ஒரு தேசிய விளையாட்டு வீரர் என்பதைப் பால்தாக்கரே மறந்து விடக்கூடாது" என கிரிக்கெட் வீரர் சச்சின் தெண்டுல்கருக்கு ஆதரவாக பாஜக கருத்து தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

சர்வதேச கிரிக்கெட் போட்டிகளில் கலந்து கொண்டு 20 ஆண்டுகள் ஆனதைத் தொடர்ந்து பத்திரிகையாளர்களைச் சந்தித்த சச்சின், "நான் மகாராஷ்டிராவைச் சேர்ந்தவன் என்பதில் பெருமிதம் கொள்கிறேன். ஆனால் முதலில் நான் இந்தியன். மும்பை இந்தியர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் சொந்தமானது" என்று கூறியிருந்தார்.

இதனைத் தொடர்ந்து, "மராத்தியர்களின் மனம் என்னும் பிட்சில் சச்சின் ரன் அவுட் ஆகிவிட்டார்" என்றும் "அவர் கிரிக்கெட்டில் மட்டும் கவனம் செலுத்த வேண்டும்; அரசியல் விளையாட்டில் அவர் ஈடுபடுவது சரியல்ல" என்று பால்தாக்கரே தனது இதழான சாம்னா தலையங்கத்தில் கடுமையாக சச்சினைச் சாடி எழுதியிருந்தார். இது அரசியல் தலைவர்களிடையே பெருத்த எதிர்ப்பைப் பால்தாக்கரேக்குப் பெற்றுத்தந்தது. பிரிவினை பேச்சுகள் மூலம் தேசத்தைத் துண்டாட முயல்வதாக அவர் மீது குற்றச்சாட்டுகள் இருந்து வரும் நிலையில், இந்திய மக்களின் அபிமான நட்சத்திர வீரரான சச்சின் மீதான அவரின் விமர்சனம் கடும் எதிர்ப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியது.

இந்நிலையில், நேற்று(திங்கள் கிழமை) செய்தியாளர்களைச் சந்தித்த பாஜக மூத்த தலைவர் அருண் ஜேட்லி, "சச்சின் கூறியது முழுக்க சரியான கருத்து; அவர் ஒரு தேசிய விளையாட்டு வீரர் என்பதைப் பால் தாக்கரே மறந்து விடக்கூடாது" என பால்தாக்கரேக்கு எதிராக கருத்து தெரிவித்தார்.

பாஜக ஆட்சியில் ரூ. 1,60,000 கோடி ஊழல்!

பாஜக ஆட்சியில் தொலைத் தொடர்புத் துறையில் ரூ. 1,60,000 கோடி ஊழல் நடைபெற்றுள்ளதாக மத்திய தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பத் அமைச்சர் ஆ. ராசா குற்றம் சாட்டியுள்ளார்.

இதுகுறித்து அவர் மேலும் கூறியது:

பாஜக தலைமையிலான அரசு பதவியில் இருந்தபோது செல்போன் சேவை அளித்த நிறுவனங்களுக்கு அலைக்கற்றைகள் இலவசமாக ஒதுக்கப்பட்டன. டெலிகாம் வரலாற்றில் நடைபெற்ற மிகப் பெரிய முறைகேடு இதுவேயாகும்.

ஸ்பெக்ட்ரம் ஒதுக்கீட்டில் முரண்பட்ட முடிவுகள் உருவானதற்கும் பாஜக அரசுதான் காரணம். ஸ்பெக்ட்ரம் அலைக்கற்றையை ஒதுக்கீடு செய்வது தொடர்பான முடிவு முதலில் கிடப்பில் போட்டதும் பாஜகதான். பின்னர் மிகவும் வசதியான சமயத்தில் 500 மெகாஹெட்ஸ் அலைக்கற்றையை பாஜக அமைச்சரவை ஒதுக்கியது.

2004-ம் ஆண்டு இத்துறை அமைச்சராயிருந்த அருண் செüரி, லைசென்ஸ் கட்டணத்தை 2 சதவீதமாகக் குறைத்தார். அருண் செüரி எடுத்த முடிவினால் மட்டும் ரூ. 900 கோடி இழப்பு ஏற்பட்டதாக ராசா குற்றம் சாட்டினார்.

BJP's southern discomfort reaches Delhi

The Karnatka BJP's battle reached the Capital on Sunday, as the dissident group headed by the Reddy brothers sent three aides to meet the party's top brass.

Karnataka Home Minister V S Acharya will meet L K Advani at his residence later on Sunday, while Speaker Jagadish Shettar is likely to meet Arun Jaitley. Another BJP leader Dhananjaya Kumar is accompanying them.

The Karanataka government plunged into a crisis on Wednesday, after the cabinet's Reddy brothers - Janardhana and Karunakara - demanded Chief Minsiter Y S Yeddyrurappa's ouster.

The Reddys claim they have the support of 60 MLAs out of BJP's 117, and are promoting Shettar as their candidate for the post of chief minister.

The two camps have clashed publicly several times in the last few months, with the Reddy brothers accusing Yeddyurappa of being dictatorial, and not giving them enough space in how they run their ministries.

The latest confrontation comes after the chief minister, who's trying to raise money for flood relief work, introduced new taxes on trucks. That hits the Reddy brothers' mining business hard. Openly defying him, G Janardhana Reddy and G Karunakara Reddy have organized parallel relief operations for homes and families struck by floods in Bellary, their home turf.

Earlier this week, central party leader Arun Jaitley was sent to Bangalore to negotiate peace. Jaitley openly backed Yeddyurappa, praising his work as chief minister.
