Vijay aims for a December release

Vijay, sources say, has finally allotted one day of call sheet for Vettaikaran. It may be recalled that Sun Pictures had demanded a few changes to be made in the final version of the film to promote it. Vijay had relented to this and decided to allot the much needed one day.

Sources also say that Sun Pictures has asked for the reshoot as soon as possible, as it could concentrate in promoting the film to the maximum. Reports also suggest that Sun may shift focus on other projects and hence the Vettaikaran team is gearing up to get their act together.

It is now believed that Vettaikaran may hit the screens sometime in December if all goes well.
